| Happy Holiday 2022 |
Hi Everyone,
First off Happy Holiday from all of us from the Public Safety: Future Responder Podcast team. Today I wanted to do a Holiday Edition of my "Very special Spotlight" as there is a very special spotlight that I wanted to share with everyone. On this "Very special Spotlight" holiday edition, I wanted to shine the light on "Spark of Love Toy Drive" in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura and Riverside counties,California.
The reason why I wanted to shine the holiday spotlight is that, this drive's Campaign is very special. The reason is that the drive collects new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for under served children and teens in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura and Riverside counties. Another reason is that, during the holiday season, the under-served people don't have the best opportunity to buy gifts for the holidays which to me makes me very sad. But its good to know the men and women of the public safety services in Los Angeles, San Bernardino, Orange, Ventura and Riverside counties of California along with Toys for Tots staff and media outlets.
What I also wanted to point out is that during the holiday, a lot of good and happiness comes out from people helping other people out with getting gifts and spreading holiday cheer.
Fun fact about the Spark of Love Toy Drive: Nearly 9 million toys have been collected and distributed every year.
