Among all the special moments that occur of the pass summer (June-August Summer 2022 in United States)  that you can find articles or other online records, I found one special moment from the summer and the article to prove it. This moment occur between June 30 - July 3, 2022 based on "Making a Furry Wish - A youth utilizes foundation wish to join furries in Pittsburgh" article that was posted on Thursday  August 11th, 2022 on flayrah.com (link to the article is below) about  a young girl who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis who used her Make-A-Wish foundation wish to join furries at the returning 2022 Anthrocon whose dates were June 30 - July 3, 2022. Below are my thoughts about the article and the story regarding the article.

Please Note: Below is my thoughts on the article and are very respectful with link to back up the story.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Based on the article, I found it to be a heartful story about a young girl who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis who used her Make-A-Wish foundation wish to join furries at the returning 2022 Anthrocon. After reading the story, I found it to be very special how this young girl (Whose furry name was Shrimp) used her wish (that could be used to travel anywhere in the world through Make-A Wish Foundation) and she chose to use her wish to attend Anthrocon as it returned in 2022 after a two year hiatus due to Covid-19. Quoted from the article, "I've always really liked anthro animals. When I was really little I'd stuff string in my pants to make a tail or I'd put my arms out to make wings with my jacket. In 2018, around Halloween, I was trying to find a costume that would be impressive and that would make people happy. I looked on youtube for that very costume and came across a unicorn quad suit, and I was in love." (flayrah.com) which made me feel happy while reading the article. I do like how her brother planned on going back to Anthrocon after he graduates and according to the Go Fund Me page (Link also below) how Pizza Parma (Furry Land) took it upon themselves to treat the family to all their meals by comping all their meals for the entire weekend, and put them at the front of the line. From both the article & the Go Fund Me Page, its Truly amazing to see the work and dedication that was put into an article about Shimp (Lainey's furry name) who diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis who wanted to share her passion about the furry fandom and using her wish to join furries in Pittsburg at Anthrocon and how Steven M. Wann is currently organizing a fundraiser on Go Fund Me to raise $10,000 dollars to get  Lainey and her family back to Anthrocon next year and to help raise even more than 10,000 to help cover Lainey's family cover Lainey's medical costs. Also very interesting how not only did the have an interview with Lainey with permission from her parents but also have an interview with Lainey's parent to get their own viewpoints about the furry fandom.

In conclusion, I found the article to be amazing, heartwarming and awesome about how Lainey using her wish to go to Anthrocon 2022 as she is fascinated with the furry fandom. Also lovely to see how there is a person who has a goal of $10,000 to help the family getting to Anthrocon and pay medical cost if there is any additional donation greater than 10,000. So after reading the article, I felt this moment definitely earns "A very Special Spotlight" shout out from me in order to support them and to share Lainey's stories and the Go Fund Me page to help them out.

So I would love for you to head on over to either the article "Making a Furry Wish - A youth utilizes foundation wish to join furries in Pittsburgh" on flayrah.com to read the article (Link #1) or if you want to donate to the fundraiser after reading my thoughts then go over to the Go Fund Me page (Link #2 below) to go do so on the Go Fund Me Page.

So PLEASE,PLEASE either support them by either clicking link 1 or 2 or share the first two links with everyone else. It would mean so much to me if you really do either action.
